Please join us for the 6th Annual Cardines Classic! 

This Army vs. Navy baseball game will feature U.S. Naval War College (USNWC) students in WWI-period uniforms,  a tribute to the role that baseball played during the Great War. Admiral William Sims, Commander of Naval Forces in Europe during WWI and two-time President of the USNWC, championed the game and used the sport to rally the troops. Gates will open at 4:30 p.m., and the first pitch will be thrown at 5:30 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public.

The program is organized in collaboration with the USNWC and Naval History and Heritage Command, and is generously sponsored by the Pritzker Military Foundation, on behalf of the Pritzker Military Museum & Library.
