The Naval War College Foundation and the James E. Hayes Chicago Endowment will host the Sentinel of the Sea Award presentation on Wednesday, March 24, 2021, a virtual event honoring Medal of Honor Recipient First Sergeant Allen J. Lynch, USA (Ret). This event will feature presentations and performances by 1SG Lynch, General Wesley Clark, USA (Ret.), Tenor Rodrick Dixon, and Emmy Award-winning Journalist Bill Kurtis.

The Sentinel of the Sea is the highest award presented by the NWCF to distinguish American citizens representing the traditions and values of the U.S. Naval War College. It is our honor to further recognize 1SG Lynch’s selflessness and courage in defense of our Nation with the Sentinel of the Sea.
