NEWPORT , R.I.— The Combined Federal Campaign (CFC), federal government’s annual workplace charity drive, kicked off its 61th year of giving on Friday, Sept. 1.

The Naval War College Foundation (NWCF) is an approved charity eligible to receive donations through CFC, which offers an option for donations to be made through payroll deduction. Those who enroll can designate which nonprofit organizations they want to receive their donations.

The CFC code for the NWCF is 49548.

Last year’s CFC campaign raised $80 million from federal and military employees and retirees plus $670,000 in a special solicitation for humanitarian relief related to the war in Ukraine.

The CFC enrollment period continues through Jan. 15, 2023.
