RADM Julius S. Caesar, USN (Ret.), to Receive a 2023 U.S. Naval Academy Distinguished Graduate Award

RADM Julius S. Caesar, USN (Ret.)

On behalf of Chairman Philip M. Bilden and the Naval War College Foundation (NWCF) Board of Trustees, NWCF extends hearty congratulations to Trustee RADM Julius S. Caesar, USN (Ret.), who has been selected to receive a Distinguished Graduate Award from the U.S. Naval Academy Alumni Association and Foundation. Honorees are chosen based on exemplary military, civilian, and volunteer service, distinction in their fields, and steadfast support of the Naval Academy and Alumni Community. 

RADM Caesar graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy before earning a MBA from The College of William & Mary. He is a Massachusetts Institute of Technology Seminar XXI Fellow in Foreign Politics, International Relations, and the National Interest and attended the U.S. Naval War College (USNWC) Reserve Officer Strategy and Policy Course. RADM Caesar is a career Surface Warfare Officer and has held prestigious positions in both the military and civilian sectors. As an active member of the Naval Academy’s alumni, RADM Caesar is the president of the Naval Academy Minority Association (NAMA) Shared Interest group, launching STEM and admissions programs for school-aged students in underserved communities. He organized the first Naval Academy Alumni Leadership Forum which featured the Secretary of the Navy and Chief of Naval Operations. RADM Caesar also gives of his time by mentoring Naval Academy Preparatory School students, in addition to many other philanthropic activities.

RADM Caesar’s exceptional military and civilian achievements are an asset to the NWCF Board of Trustees, and we are grateful for his continued patriotic service to both the NWCF and USNWC.  He has served on several committees during his tenure and supported NWCF symposia in Washington, DC and San Francisco, CA. He brings invaluable experience to the NWCF’s Board of Trustees, helping further our mission to educate today, secure tomorrow.
