The Naval War College Foundation’s (NWCF) Second Annual Newport Open golf tournament is just one week away. There is still limited availability to join the day of friendly competition in support of the U.S. Naval War College (USNWC). The event will be held Wednesday, June 26, at the Newport National Golf Club in Middletown, RI. Registration opens at 6:30 a.m. with a continental breakfast. Before the 8 a.m. shotgun start, golfers will hear from USNWC Provost Dr. Stephen Mariano, NWCF Chairman and Presenting Sponsor Daniel E. Holland III, and NWCF President and CEO CAPT George E. Lang, Jr., USN (Ret.).
The bramble-style tournament will wrap up around 12:30 p.m., when the winners will be announced at a networking reception.
