Carla Knorowski, Ph.D. has joined the Naval War College Foundation as its new President and Chief Development Officer (CDO). Dr. Knorowski will work closely with CEO George Lang to expand the Foundation’s outreach nationally and craft even more valuable programs to benefit the Foundation, its members and the Naval War College.

Dr. Knorowski brings more than 30 years of experience in the nonprofit sector and has raised millions of dollars in private support benefitting numerous charitable institutions and their constituents. Most recently, she served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library Foundation in Chicago. She has also held senior leadership positions at Northeastern Illinois University and Northeastern Illinois University Foundation; Chicago Humanities Festivities; The University of Illinois Alumni Association; and The University of Illinois at Chicago.
