The Naval War College Foundation (NWCF) invites you to register for the U.S. Naval War College’s (USNWC) Center on Irregular Warfare and Armed Groups (CIWAG) 2026 Maritime Symposium, “Gathering Storms & Shifting Tides.” Co-sponsored by the NWCF, the symposium will run June 22–24, 2026. The main sessions will be held June 22–24 at the Wyndham Newport Hotel and are open to the public. The symposium will examine the operational, legal, and strategic challenges shaping maritime security as rising tensions and technological change redefine the character of competition at sea.
